MEET THE OWNER & CHEF
Spread Catering Co. began as a culmination of Chef Cristina Topham's Lebanese roots, French training, and reputation as a prominent chef for some of California's top wineries.
Cristina joined the culinary world nearly two decades ago, when she graduated the prestigious French Culinary Institute in New York City, before honing her skills at restaurants in Paris, Napa, and New York.
In 2003, Cristina started her first business, The Gracious Host - which then became the premier caterer for Morrell Wines. This venture allowed her to nurture her interest in wine and led to her curation of a number of customized wine-pairing dinners and tasting events.
In 2005, Cristina left New York City to become a chef to the superyacht industry and cooked her way throughout Europe, the Caribbean, and Mexico.
However, as a California native, home was calling and in 2014 Cristina returned to the Bay Area and settled in Sonoma before starting Spread Catering Co.
